Howskey is a software service that helps property owners, rental hosts, and/or property manageers manager guest questions using AI-powered messaging, including through channels such as WhatsApp. This Privacy Policy is intended to help hosts, guests, and website visitors understand what information we handle and why.

We collect information you provide directly to us, information collected automatically when you use the Service, and information received through third-party services connected to Howskey.

Account Information

If you create or use an owner, host, and/or property manager account, we may collect information such as:

  • Account and registration information such as name, email address, and phone number
  • Company Name or business name
  • Usage data including pages visited, features accessed, and time spent
  • Device and browser information collected automatically
  • Communications you send to us via email or contact forms

Property Information Uploaded by you

Onwers, Hosts, and property managers may upload or input property-related information into Howskey, including:

  • Property names and addresses
  • House Rules, Check-in & Check-out instructions
  • Appliance guides, manuals, and instructions
  • Parking, Wi-Fi, safety, and access details
  • Other content hosts choose to upload or manage through the Service

This information may include personal information if a host chooses to upload it. Hosts are responsible for ensuring they have the right to provide information they upload to the Service.

Guest Messages and Interactions

When guests interact with Howskey through messaging channels such as WhatsApp, we may process:

  • A hashed version of a guest’s WhatsApp phone number and the last 4 digits of that number
  • Message content
  • Questions submitted by guests
  • Responses generated by the Service
  • Timestamps and interaction history
  • Property or reservation context provided by the host or available through the messaging flow

Guests do not need to create a Howskey account to interact with the Service.

Usage Data and Analytics

We may collect information about how the Service is accessed and used, including:

  • Log data, Session data, Feature usage, Pages or screens viewed
  • Actions taken within the Service
  • Message activity and response patterns
  • Analytics about common guest questions and host usage trends

Device and Browser Data
